We are proud to be in community with families and advocates across northeast Ohio to build support for all those living with mental illness. We work in coalition with many organizations that advocate for justice for those wronged at the hands of police officers.
Jun Wang came to the United States 21 years ago, after advocating for democracy in China in 1989. He joined the community in northeast Ohio as a beloved volunteer, brother, neighbor, and member of St. Charles Church in Parma. His life was tragically cut short at the hands of the North Royalton Police Department on October 28, 2016. Because he was brutally taken away from us, and after years of miscarriage of justice at the hands of the County Prosecutor, County Sherif's Office, and North Royalton Police Department, the Jun Wang Foundation was formed to seek justice for our murdered brother and to carry on Jun Wang's humanitarian spirit.
The missions of the Jun Wang Foundation are:
1.To Remember Jun Wang and to promote respect for humanity
2.To support all those living with mental illness,
and to use efforts to secure Justice for Jun to
create a safer and more equitable
world for all of us
3. To find way reverse mental illness
4. To promote the respect to our planet
The spirit of Jun Wang stands for these four missions.
